Sometimes, things don’t go according to plan. Serious health problems, injuries, and illnesses require immediate care, and we’re ready to help. When your pet urgently needs to see a veterinarian, VWC offers quality pet urgent care during our regular hours. 

Please call us at (603) 519-4160 so we can prepare and advise you on what’s best for your pet.

Signs your pet may need emergency care include:

  • Pale gums
  • Rapid breathing
  • Weak or rapid pulse
  • Change in body temperature
  • Difficulty standing
  • Apparent paralysis
  • Loss of consciousness
  • Seizures
  • Excessive bleeding

If your pet has an emergency after hours, we recommend the following 24-hour veterinary facility:

If  you think your pet has eaten or been exposed to something poisonous:

Call us at (603) 519-4160 immediately! After hours, contact the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center’s 24-hour hotline at 888-426-4435. Trained toxicologists will consider your pet’s age and health and then recommend what action should be taken.
