Kailee began her career in veterinary medicine 2 ½ years ago, working part-time at a general mixed animal practice that saw some urgent care and emergency cases while she attended college. Kailee graduated from the University of New Hampshire in December 2023 with a Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Science: Medical & Veterinary Sciences. She has had a variety of animal experience and has worked for a rabbit breeder and at a dog kennel, yet her passion for animal care grew while attending the Seacoast School of Technology here in Exeter. She is currently studying for a Master of Veterinary Science online degree through the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign. Kailee hopes to become a mixed animal veterinarian, but remains open-minded to all veterinary medicine has to offer. She switched to VWC to continue working full-time while continuing her education, as well as furthering her interest and knowledge in integrative medicine. Kailee enjoys hiking, swimming, antique collecting, hot yoga, painting, and reading. Kailee’s family owns a Border Collie/Cattle Dog Mix named Willow, who was their “foster fail”—a dog they were fostering and fell in love with after losing previous family dogs to cancer. Kailee also owns a rabbit – a 7-year-old Mini Lop mix, Thumper, named after her favorite character from the Disney movie, Bambi. Kailee can’t wait to meet everyone and their furry family members while continuing her journey in veterinary medicine before going to veterinary school!
